During the normal waking state experiences one experiences the five-fold world of gross sense objects. One is in constant contact with the world outside. Thinking and feeling take place by habit and hence, without much deliberation. The higher faculties of spiritual enquiry and aspirations do not function normally under ordinary circumstances.

Due to divine grace, due to one's past good actions a context is created in an unknown unexpected way in which one comes in contact with a living master(Guru) who opens up the higher faculties through subtle means which are the divine tools of transformation. What seem to be casual and ordinary turn out as the turning point towards inner expansion. One finds thereafter a series of spiritual experiences even while wide awake in the work-a-day world. But theses are to be assimilated so that they get translated into one's attitudes, behaviour and character.

Vertical dimensions are such experiences. One is able to become aware of the heights and depths of the spiritual interior(adhyaatmam) very vividly and clearly. These direct insights are grasped and employed in inner worship or mental worship called Maanasa Puja.

Vertically the domains of Five Great Elements are located along the spinal cord. Five types of offerings are made mentally using these domain keys which are mono Sanskrit syllables which are primordial vibrations which betray translation.

Divine perfume is created at the centre of Earth/ Smell(gandham) and is offered to the Lotus Feet of the Divine Mother.
Divine flowers/decorations are created at the centre of Space/Form(pushpam) and is offered to the Lotus Feet of the Divine Mother.
Divine incense is created at the centre of Air/Touch(dhoopam) and is offered to the Lotus Feet of the Divine Mother.
Divine flame is created at the centre of Fire/Vision(deepam) and is offered to the Lotus Feet of the Divine Mother.
Divine taste is created at the centre of Water/Taste(naivedyam) and is offered to the Lotus Feet of the Divine Mother.
Having completed these one reaches the centre of Guru between the eyebrows and creates the vision of all possible offerings and (sarvopachaaram) and is offered to the Lotus Feet of the Divine Mother.

By practice this takes only a few micro seconds. This is the way of worship Tantra facilitates which in turn refines the inner instruments of experiences. Purification leads to greater and heightened spiritual sensitivity.

This blog is a verbal offering at the Lotus Feet of the Divine Parents of the Cosmos who reside in the hearts of all beings.
